The Owners and Operators

Tom VanNevel is a co-owner of Avid Videographers and the main cameraman and editing guru. Tom received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications, with a focus in Electronic Media, from Indiana University and a Master of Science in Digital Media from Valparaiso University May of 2012. He interned for a summer at WNDU (Channel 16) between his freshman and sophomore year of college. He began his news career as an award winning photojournalist for Fox 28 News and is currently employed by WSBT. Tom has been involved in camera work from a very young age as he volunteered during pledge drives for many years as a camera operator at WNIT, a local public television station. Tom has always had a love of videography and is eager to throw his talent into the production of your wedding or other special event videos.

Miranda VanNevel is the other owner of Avid Videographers. Miranda's background lends her more towards the business end of running Avid Videographers. She graduated from Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computational Mathematics. However, Miranda has learned the fine workings of videography through years of experience working with her husband. She also lends considerable help in her eye for detail, artistic knowledge and sight, and ability to develop new ideas on a regular basis.

Testimonials

From the moment we met with them, we knew they were the ones we wanted to entrust with the task of capturing on video one of the most important events in my only daughter's life - her wedding day. In addition to the wedding video, we also had them do a montage of pictures that was shown at the reception ....all of the guests were captured for a brief five minutes by the display of photos of both Jessi and Adam from the time they were babies through their entire lives leading up to this day and brought laughter and tears to our eyes. They did more than just video the wedding.....they gave us every moment of that entire day on a video that lets us relive the day over and over again.
